Jung the Lawyer

Background

Yes, believe it or not, I am a licensed California attorney.

In 1998, I opened my own law office in downtown San Francisco, at 109 Geary St. I had a general practice law office, which meant I basically did all types of cases. This experience was enriching and very time-consuming. My proudest achievements during that time period were helping a Vietnamese woman avoid deportation and helping a Vietnam Veteran win a six-figure judgment against the City of Oakland for his personal injuries.

I closed that law office in September 2000 because I landed a full-time acting job in Kaiser Permanente´s Educational Theatre Programs. It was time to explore my creative side full-time as an actress. I really enjoyed my time as an actress and counselor in "Secrets," an educational play performed at high schools across Northern California that educates kids about HIV, AIDS, peer pressure issues and other relevant topics. However, after that job, I decided it was time to move to Los Angeles, where I worked in a high-end civil litigation firm, representing injured persons, called Sayre & Chavez.

Currently, I am working as an attorney on a part-time and independent basis. If you are an attorney who needs some help or someone to make special appearances for you, let me know. You are welcome to contact me at: jung@thejungpark.com
